Yeah, I would do something with the GPU fan speed, and EVGA Precision X.

Might also want to disable the ASUS Q-Fan control in the BIOS....it should be on the Monitor tab. Either disable it or set up a fan curve.

The ASUS Q-Fan control IS on the Monitor Tab, in the BIOS.
When you disable it the CPU fan runs at 100%. I run mine that way, but some folks like to set a fan curve, so the CPU fan only speeds up with increased load.

I do the same with EVGA Precision...I set the GPU fan at a fixed rate (60% in my case)...most folks however, set a GPU fan curve as well, so the GPU fan speed increases with load.

I think I'll leave Precision X to my buddy, seeing as they force you to register to download and I don't know his email or anything to setup the account for him.

I need to find a better image host, imgur is shit right now.

You have the Hyper 212 EVO ...sort of backwards. :(

The fan on the Hyper 212 EVO should be on the RAM side of the heatsink, and blowing through the heatsink towards the rear exhaust fan.

/e Fortunately all it takes is to remove the RAM temporarily and then unclip the fan from the heatsink, then move the clips to the other side (if needed) and re-clip it to the heatsink, and put the RAM back in.

No worries, I'll switch it around!
It's been a long time since I built a new pc or even touched one, my apologies for the retardation lol.

Should look like this...

No need to remove the heatsink...just get the fan on the RAM side of the heatsink, and make SURE it's blowing through the heatsinkl.

I just did a 5 min run of AIDA stress test...with all BUT the HDDs stressed. My comp is right by an A/C unit, so don't go by the max. temps, but rather by the increase in temps...from idle to load.

Of course! I just added a second fan to my own hyper 212 and had to reverse one of them. Check other thread, pics coming soon.
