Correct me if im wrong but,

has a 5k$ computer, plays games at 60fps?

Im assuming its for gaming. You probably do stuff that requires more perfomance than gaming does tho.

Correct me if I'm wrong but they don't make a 144 hz 3440x1440 p monitor

I really don't understand how everyone is still complaining about 60 hz gaming.

Consoles do it, they have done and most likely you've done it for 10+ years on pc. Again, it's up to you if you want to waste money on 144 hz.

They do make 100hz models though, You pleb.

60hz looks like a mess after using 144hz

K if you say so. And no the 500 dollar price gap doesn't justify the gsync module.

Same. Unless you're like Diamond+ in LoL/Overwatch or the equiv in CS:GO, it ain't making a difference for gaming.

Best of all worlds: overclockable 27" 1440p IPS Korean panel. Get that 96-120hz with all the pretty colors and screen real estate for < $400.

I play dota and am that high B)

but, I like to play with what pros play with because i have this wild pipedream ill actually be good at some games :O

I would say if you're in the top 1% in your game then yes, get the 144hz.

That's about the only thing freesync has that one-ups g-sync is the fact its 'free'.

Other than that, Gsync is better in almost every way.

.

have you looked at recent frametime/latency/etc benchmarks?
relive drivers just opened up windowed freesync I believe too
