Switched ram, XMP was already enabled, I had to flip the XMP switch on the mobo.

I didn't end up buying fans, I just used what I had lying around, which is a bunch of older coolermaster fans that were never used.

Much better. Good job.
What is your friend giving in trade for all this awesome work?

As for temps...post a Speccy screenshot, so we can see what they are.

/e A better benchmark (with scores) would be 3DMark, and Cinebench.
A good stress test would be AIDA64 Extreme.

/ee As for your SSD ...use Crystal Disk Mark to test it.

I believe that UserBenchmark weights the results by device popularity and cost. So it is not really an accurate benchmark.

He bought my old case from me which was good enough for me, plus we get to game together!

Well I hope he's paying for the parts...at least. :)

See the bold edit above.

Yeah the AIDA64 Extreme, stress test will show us your load temps.
Same with 3DMark and/or Cinebench.

/e Your temps look OK for idle, I'm assuming you are in a fairly warm room?

A final parts list would be nice. And ofc a pic is required, for all new builds. :)

Room is very warm at the moment, don't have the air on and my heatbox (computer) is running as well as my girlfriends computer, all within a 14x14 bedroom in a non-insulated house on a 87 degree day. lol.
Still waiting on 3dmark to install... Pics uploading.
Don't yell at me for my bad cable management either!

I never yell at folks for cable management. Unless I know they expect it. Like they were trying to make it perfect.

/e Highest priority is that the thing works as it should.
Cable management is just a perk these days. Back when cables were 2 inches wide, it did make a bit of difference.

/ee Don't forget MSI Afterburner for the GPU fan speed. If it's an EVGA card...use EVGA Precision X.
