FYI the Skylake CPU's don't come with a cooler. I assume you have one already, but just in case.

i commented on your post with the "lets turn this into a 4k rig while where at it" as a joke because it always turns into the "get this this and this"
we didnt know his budget but i do see your point. if he has/is thinking about going haswell he can work into skylake easily
