its always kind of hard to compare apples to bananas

first of all the main stream support for windows 7 has ended 15.01.2015. until 2020 microsoft will only fix security bugs.

Also 90% of the notebook prozessors are soldered. Only the prozessors with a M are socketed.
But otherwise it works, as long as you know exactly what parts are in your laptop.

So you didn't ask for my cinebench to compare it to a skylake cpu?
What was the point.
It is not an apple to bananas comparison

No longer justifying my choices to you.
When you're wrong u can't even admit it.
Oh well I guess lol

i wanted to see how much you can get out of it. Stock i5 3570k is about 526(multi) and 136(single). So you got a solid 10-15% overclock on air cooling. Thats actually quite good.

There is still a lot of headroom as well
10-15+% is also the point of buying a CPU that can o/c

I will probably upgrade to kaby lake when it is released, I might be able to make it through the lake cycle, but that would be stretching it I think lol

1 last question for you all, are all the recommended sites from pcpartpicker legit and safe to order from, I've always been extremely cautious when ordering items online.

I sent out a couple messages to people but posting publicly also

I decided to up my budget slightly again to 1200, and want the upgrade ability for near upgrades (more ram, double gfx, and a good sound card for studio) I am stuck between an M5 and a M7 board, is the m7 really that much better for the price? Also I need to be able to run high process programs for my studio so I bumped up to a skylake, I realize I could get a cheaper board but This needs to last me a WHILE so I don't mind dishing out the extra cash now for a longer life span.

I would save about 50 bucks if I dropped to a M5, also I wanted to keep the black and red style hence the more expensive case.

Overall is this a good strong build?
Will the power supply be enough?
Will the cooler be good enough?
Anything I may be missing that's not compatible?

It's fine. Just keep in mind that the H440 is a "quiet" case so airflow is not all that good. It should be fine as long as you watch temps and add in a couple fans if needed.

With AIOs it's basically the same as installing an air cooler. It's just radiator and fan placement.
