The hilarious stupidity via you is priceless.

The equivalent to the $70 CPU I can buy now would have cost me 169.99 CANADIAN at that point and time, pre taxes.

it's now 69.99

So .... you know, I definitely got owned, right?

I definitely screwed up big time.

ok but ur singling out the cpu with that statement. if u want to consider the better motherboard, better graphics card, better ram and everything else u can too ur comptuer would of cost half. your looking at in unfairly.

...

Just stop now.

The CPU IS THE BOTTLENECK THAT IS PREVENTING ME FROM ACHIEVING ADEQUATE PERFORMANCE.

I DON'T NEED ANY OTHER UPGRADES, BUT IF I DID MY PSU CAN SUPPORT IT, SO CAN MY MOBO.

x2 5200 + - 89.99 when I bought

240 - 69.99 ATM.

It would completely dissolve my CPU bottleneck, and at the time I bought the parts I did it was ADEQUATE.

u mad? i m just letting u know that your logic is completly flawed. and computer hardware = time (since new shit comes out wut every 3 months?) so even though u can upgrade for 70. its been over time and all ur hardware has declined in value and the peformance ur gettin per dollar now isnt the same as when u first bought ur shit at higher prices. ur def wrong man ur being narrow minded. computers should never be built for "upgrades" u build em , u keep them until ur games dont run on high or medium settings anymore, then u overclock em to squeeze out all the performance you can. And then and only then do you build a WHOLE NEW SYSTEM. UNLESS of course you are a millionare like everyone on jsp and u cant play games unless its in quadfire with 150fps in crysis maxed out with 16x AA and AS

This is the most flawed logic I have ever seen before.

So I can upgrade my CPU now and instantly play everything I do at max settings, and not need to worry about another upgrade for a while, as opposed to having a non-upgradeable machine where I would have to scrap it all and drop another 600$ minimum.

u were dumb to buy a inadiquate cpu in the first place then. u going cheap on the cpu to begin with was a waste of money and now the money u speent on the cpu initially is thrown out the window. GJ

O.K, let me prove you are an idiot once again.

CPU at the time - adequate.

CPU at the time 89.99

CPU to be adequate NOW (for my games) but using then pricing 169.99

CPU to be adequate NOW using NOW pricing - 69.99

169.99-159.98 = $10.01 in savings.

Plus, because of my future proofing next time I get too far behind on games I can just pop out my GPU or CPU and have all the games I need maxed again.
