BIOS time and Date have to be set, or a LOT of software won't work properly.

AIDA64 Extreme
Unigine Valley
3DMark Firestrike Extreme

....and so were all on the same page....

Get SPECCY here: http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download ...get the FREE version from the: Piriform Link ...Speccy is a really nice system hardware/temperature, information Utility....simply install it...and run the program...then post a screen shot of the main page of the program, when posting a problem/question on these forums.

As for overclocking, I'd wait a wee bit, until you get everything working 100%. Any software that's out of whack will make it all that much harder to achieve a stable overclock.

Okay i had to sync the date and time to a new loacation to get updates to work.

Now im still working on things poping up as expired certificate, which the time date issue may have fixed that also.

Thanks for the programs also

Okay I've ran some tests and over clocked it some, could you all make sure everything is safe here.

I may drop the cpu down, its not bad but I do notice glitches very rarely.

Also, on my tests it says 3.5 on my cpu, but on cpu-z it shows im running 4.5, is that normal?

LOL, that's the exact same score I got on my FX 8350 and my Titan (neither overclocked)

So it looks like it's time for you to overclock your vid card. I can't help with that...I'm an Nvidia guy, but there are a lot of folks on here with overclocked 390's or 390x's....w/e you have. :)

/e You still need to figure out your RAM problem...it's running at 2133Mhz, and the timings look right, but it's running in single channel.

Also, Speccy should not say UNKNOWN for your RAM.

How do I go about doing this lol, I am new to overclocking.

Also, does my cpu all look safe and okay?

Oh I forgot to try and reboot ram on slot 2...... Let me do this really fast.

yes that is normal
windows + speccy do not report CPU frequency, that's why we all use CPUZ/ID :)
