Yeah thats pretty much it.
As for refresh rate, ill try to sum it up.

A normal screen is 60 hz, that means it can display 60 FPS. A vast majority of screens are 60.
You can get 120 hz or 144 hz screens which means they can display 120/144 fps. THat however means you need enough power in your cpu/graphics to reach that many frames, otherwise there is no difference between 144 hz and 60 hz if you're running at 40-50fps.
The animation looks smoother on 144 hz, but its not necessarily a huge difference for some people, check out this vid

he does a decent job at showing it.

i mean even with my bad laptop i run csgo at 120fps ^^

are the 120refresh rate much more expensive?

sure are.
take a look at monitors here
http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/parts/monitor/

that link shows all monitors it tracks, organized by most popularly purchased to least.
You can filter on the left side. I filtered for 1080p and 100+ refresh rate which is here
http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/parts/monitor/
cheapest is 260 and its also not ips.

As for Csgo, yes that game is very easy to get high frames :)
You will get tons of frames on many popular older games. If csgo is a game that is important to you, may be worth the investment, many people insist that it is. Its a preference, so i can't recommend either way ^_^

No thoughts on it. Other than i don't see anything really wrong here. Reviews look mostly good and acer is a great budget monitor maker.
As long as the reviews aren't exceptionally poor, I'd try it out. the worst case is, it sucks or you don't like it and you have to return it.

They make other refresh rates.
here is a 76...

youre right i never thought about dual monitoring ^^

i saw on the graphic card specs that it can handle 3 monitors in 4k graphics lol ( something like 4096/2050 or around that, i forgot)

all i want is 1080p :D

would i need any other specific stuff to switch to a double screen setup? i assume id need some kind of software but any more hardware?

that could be very nice could have a screen for like youtube/facebook/checking stuff about the game im playing etc instead of alt tabing i guess

and if i ever end up trying to stream for fun or make videos im sure a 2nd screen would be really helpful
