Push that clock up to 200 & Memory at 700 - Should be easily able to handle that within Valley.

I had mem at 500 and it jumped temps up a lot..like 8c~ or so.. if anything i might keep mem at 250 and jump up clock speeds.

could it handle +170 ish with keeping 250 mem? i got custom fan settings..but idk if i should leave it on auto or not and let it do its own thing.

i just always put mine at 100% when gaming.

maybe leave at 60% if the games is not demanding.

Gets loud at 100% haha, trying to keep sounds minimal at most...

Maybe i will tinker with it more...

What are good tempts to stay below at my clock speeds? (IN SIG) i usually stay under 72-74c at like full load/high graphic intensive areas...stayed there on valley benchmark w/ extremehd settings...in GW2 completely maxed out at most i saw is low 60's.

curious to know exactly whats MAX a 780 FTW can handle STABLE... like 80..85..etc. altho id rather not go that high..

the lower the better.

i just dont like 70c +.

there are specifications as to max temps, i dont like sound either that is why i want to use an aio liquid cooler to cool my next gpu.

i could do that but im FAR from capable of water blocking whole comp...and not in my budget lol

is it BAD if i went back to auto fan control? letting the gpu do it?

auto fan control is fine, i would do 40% up to whatever fan noise you are comfortable with.

and what i am going to be doing is using an all in one liquid cooler with the new nzxt bracket to attach it to the gpu.

will require an added purchase of vrm heatsinks, but it took the reference 290x from 94c stock cooler, to 45-50c stock clocks, and is quiet.

wish i could do that..for cooling purposes and badass-ness.

on my 780 FTW i can bare with bout 90% fan speed at most.. 95-100 gets kinda annoying.

I did multiple valley tests with my 780 FTW, OC'd it an additional +70 clock speeds and +250 mem speeds.

got a stable 2880-2890 on ExtremeHD test @ 69~ fps, with i5-3570k OC'd @ 4.2

Stock 780 FTW i got like 268x score with average 65.5 ish~ fps i believe. didnt really care for stock haha.

100% stock
No bios update yet
CPU still at 3.4
Fan speed unadjusted and it got up to 70C

I got a 2706 after changing from Windows 7 or Windows 8.
So about the same lol
