For some time it'd perform better, yes, but what if nothing interesting will be added to am3+ lineup? The next gpu would be bottlenecked or the platform itself would require an upgrade
The forum serves for discussion, I don't command anyone, I'm just stating what I think and what's true I believe.

nothing will be added to the 1155 lineup... so your point on the am3+ socket is invalid
it would be seriously doubtful, seeing that there's people using 1366 and 1156 cpu's without getting bottlenecked...

My 3850 build performs exactly the same as my 3570k in all games i've played with the same gpu in them...

Just saying...

I think the 3850 might get 1-2 fps less at times.. and the 3570k will get 1-2 fps less at times...

Are you sure of that?
Could you provide any real benchmarks?
Of course 1-2 fps when they range about 30fps max wouldn't be that big of a difference but most of benchmarks deny that, with some expections on cpu heavy games like Civilization 5 i think and also Crysis 3 which uses FX power brilliantly

@up
Nothing will be added but the cpus already available are better in most of cases

people using 1366 don't get bottlenecked now but I haven't seen sli'ed Titans with i7-920 and I bet they would run much better at both fx or even more on 3570/2500 (beside the fact it could handle anything I think @ 60fps)

EDIT: @ Dolar - Proper grammar was used in that post. ;)

benchmarks are perfect and ideal settings.. No one in the world lives in perfeect benchmark settings...

I'm sure.. and this is 1-2 when im sitting @ 60 fps... they drop up and down between both @ 58-60 on different games.. i think the lowest I've seen my 3570k go is 41 on bf3 and my 8350 went to 38 on bf3

So wait.. a cpu demanding game.. runs the same on a 8350/8320 as it does a 3570k... but the 3570k is sooooo much better why?

What an incredible work of art... those lines are so amazingly painted. How long did it take you to paint this masterpiece? I feel that if your painting was around a long long time ago.. it would be the inspiration behind The Mona Lisa.
