might i ask why are they garbage? from what i can tell they seem similar to any other build ive seen lately? im not trying to be an ass, i would seriously like to know why these parts are "garbage" as compared to other parts?

1. For that price, you can do better.
2. Garbage CPU for the money
3. Questionable PSU from a questionable brand

the power supply is a shit tier unit and will end up blowing up or making your computer crash when you're gaming.
the motherboard is too cheap.
that cpu is last year's generation from amd that performed worse then the previous generation before that architecture.
the case is most likely something that they put in prebuilt machines that do not have any type of airflow or cable management possibilities making your computer overheat to the point you're going to get allot of bsod's.

That looks good, and I hope that those M.I.R.s would be redeemed.

Great parts and choices for the price but

I'd knock it down to a standard 7870 or the ghz version + a 6300 so he can fit windows in there and keep it reasonable... plus I'd drop it down to a 500-550 w psu if there is a cheaper better one...

$6.00 is the price difference between 500 & 600w
I own the XT & Standard 7870, and for the $30 Extra, you'd be crazy not to grab the XT version.

the XT is the best of it's class... the GHz is pretty close... and the 7870 is still really good

7870 XT is based of the Tahiti architecture, while the GHz & Standard edition is using the Pitcairn architecture, in Short the XT is superior.
