Looks are really important to me as well :S
i really really prefer the Haf X over the HAF 232.

about the H100 and H80, heard the performance difference on those are almost nothing.
and again i really like the neon on those fans.

about the motherboard. are you sure i don't loose something on switching those two ?

(thanks for helping me)

I thought the two Haf cases were the same, except the 932 comes with fans already, and has a slightly different side panel...but ya case's are a personal choice, so get whatever one makes you happy, they are essentially the same so the cooling will be good.

Here's the Egg's comparison of the two boards, basically with the cheaper board you gain DVI connection on the back + 2 more internal USB headers, but lose 3 back plate USB headers, other then that, they are the same board.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007627%2050001314%20600158412&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&CompareItemList=280%7C13%2D128%2D498%5E13%2D128%2D498%2DTS%2C13%2D128%2D507%5E13%2D128%2D507%2DTS

Well the H100 does perform a bit better then the H80, and it fits in the top of the Haf case nicely, and you want to maintain a positive air pressure case to help keep the dust down. With the setup you're trying to go with it looks like you'll have 2x 200mm intake 2x 200mm exhaust and at least 1x 120mm exhaust creating a negative pressure, increasing the dust inside...

can't see the comparison on the two boards. But seems like there is no eSATA on the cheaper board.

- i will think about the H100 for a bit. i just love the look on the blue led in the fans.
Do i decide what fans are intake and what fans are exhaust ?

As I've mentioned @pm, that harddisk is not faster than any another 7200rpm harddisk. It just has a bigger cache. You should buy a SSD if you search for faster read/write speeds. Buying a velocirator (10k rpm harddisk) is waste of money anyway.

Because of the fact that H100 is twice as big as the H80, it allows more water to be cooled before cooling the heatspreader on the CPU.
Although it requires more space and it also fills more width wise. Maybe not so optimal in the haf-series, if you think about airflow.

Not sure if I mentioned this, you should really think about the fans you buy. Most low budget color fans are noisy and not volt-controlled (with other words, you can't modify the speed on them, except from 0% speed and 100% speed.)
This means you won't be able to use your fan controller front panel. Only to turn off fans completely or turn them on at 100% speed (which can be noisy in most cases)
I can recommend Noctua fans as they allow great push and/or pull with low noise. The only downside is the fact that the designers of the fan choose to paint them brown like dog shit.
I don't know where you're living (well I know it's within the borders of Denmark) but if you really need, I might be able to send you a couple of blue Zalmann fans for a cheaper expence (not used) then you can check for yourself, whether if the noise is too much.

And please let me know if you wanted to see my mate's build with blue customized Haf 922, as I recall.

E: By the way, you gotta keep in mind that no CPU chips are the same. They all overclock different, so if your chip overclocks to 4.5Ghz-4.7Ghz (which is average for a sandy chip on premium cooling) you shouldn't feel bad.
You can google batch numbers and find what people got. Although it's NEVER the same. All chips are unique in one way or another.

There is an e-sata port on the back of the cheaper gigabyte board, I listed the only differences...the H100 works quite a bit better as I stated, and you can see the price difference between them is rather small on your site, so it's worth the difference in my opinion. You can change fans around however you want, but the general airflow is front intake, side intake, rear + top exhaust...

with that Haf case, the H100 fits nicely in the top, in a push/pull config you would be looking at temps in the high 50's to low 60's during full load oc'd around 4.5GHz...

I'd suggest you swap the Corsair fans provided with the H80 or H100, what ever you choose, with some premium fans. The Corsair fans are a bit plasticy and noisy. Atleast they were for my sensitive ears.

E: Anyway, I'm off to bed. PM me if ya got questions, I'll answer them asap tomorrow sometime. :)
E#2: I'd suggest you buy NH-D14 from Noctua if you want the ultimate air cooling experience. My friend has got his 2500k on 5.1Ghz on air @24/7 with it.
I really doubt that even the H100 can get those lovely temps. He's using a Haf 922 or something too.

Right...they don't come with push/pull fans any way, so he'd have to add his own...doesn't look like the site he's using has much of a good fan selection either :(

Highly inaccurate information, over clocking is all in the gamble, and almost every single review puts the H100 considerably cooler (5-7c) then the DH-14 - there are even some reviews that actually test them with multiple fan configurations and same fans, from push/pull on the 100 to 4 fans on the DH-14...not to mention that thing is HUGE and ugly. If you really want some good cooling get a Rasa kit and wc it the right way :)

They come with fans for either pull or push. Not both, that's correct. But I'd say, switch them all out.

Anyway, good night.

Its so hard to decide.
i just really really like those the looks on those fans.
Arkheios i'm pretty sure NZXT SENTRY LX Fan Control Dual Bay are able to control the speed on the fans.

Sleep well Andreas

Just keep in mind that those fans are noisy, and you will have a negative air flow case so you will need to dust it more often...

Try to find this instead of either of the cooling and you will be happy :P

These are some quality 120mm blue led fans too if you can find them, probably order them direct from CM...put the H100 in push pull w/ 4 of these, and 1 for the rear:

This confuses me a lot mate :S
Alright tell me what fans + what CPU cooler (Haf X)

You can use newegg.com.
(remember i really really like blue led)
