there people that test those kind of thing for people like us ;) just do some research ull find i guess.
build could be 2.5 easy if i remove windows and take some cheap ssd,hd,case,
i didnt order that CX psu
whats up with razer  ? i like the mouse and keyboard for gaming
1080 and 1080ti, the frame rate gain for the price, like 20% more, make it hard to justify in my opinion.
the perfomance you will gain will be not too close to that 20% more you pay for this card
that's actually what i am curious about, who the "people" you researched from the above statement you made. Are they reputable/professional? bias? randoms? etc.
i left room for 1k (or 1.7k u ended up spending) for the OS, case and peripherals to ur personal preference. Idk how you would go from 4.2k to 2.5k just by removing windows, taking some cheap case, ssd, hdd though.
there's nothing wrong with buying a cheap SSD as long as they're reputable & quality. You literally won't be able to tell the difference of which ssd is in a build with your naked eyes anyway.
there was also no need to pay more $ for the firecuda as you will be using it for storage, and you already paid more for an extra SSD for OS, which makes it essentially pointless pay more for a hybrid drive intended for storage.
razer is well-known for their poor quality, but if you like it, go for it since it's your money & personal preference, and who knows you might be one of the lucky ones without any problems.
i don't understand your logic being concerned about spending more $$ for 20% more gain from 1080 to 1080ti, but spending more $ on samsung SSD's for much less gains is okay, i mean you already went way over your 3.5k budget anyway..
like $100 more you coulda got 2 extra cores and a 1080ti which is far better money spent than sacrificing those for samsung ssd's and a hybrid hard drive.
