Yeah, I know you were.

Newegg was bought by the Chinese last October.
To be honest, the "savings" haven't been that great since that happened.

Most of us used Newegg almost exclusively, for the longest time. The PCpartpicker came along. Back when the online etailers had decent combos, even PCpartpicker had them listed.

Short version: It costs the same no matter what you do.
PCpartpicker is just easier.

Also, you don't BUY from PCpartpicker. It just is a low price locator. You still have to purchase from the individual etailers though.

Lol. Tiger Direct was busted like 4-5 times for selling used as new, among other things.
I assume that's why it never shows up on PCpartpicker even though the site still exists.

I only used it to pick up cool retro shit like my Jornada 720
