The rechargeable ones are the a50's which I didn't recommend. I just didn't like the feel of the siberias. They felt cheap and were uncomfortable around my ears. They were round Vs. A40's being sort of rectangle.

Also you'd have to unplug your siberias every time you wanted to use them on Xbox /pc. Where my Astros play both and if I want solely one I just twist a dial. The mixamp ( the old stand alone one, not the one that plugs into your controller. ) really makes it the best of both worlds.

Siberias have batteries in them. Comes with 2 you can charge in the mixamp that comes with it.

Also able to change from PC to Xbox without moving cords around.

I didnt realize a40s were not wireless. Most likely will not go for them but rather a50s.

Will still look at both options

Astro mixamp or equivalent, plus seperate mic and headphone :p

This forum wont be able to help you. Our recommendation will always be real headphones and separate mic. If you need it for console the recommendation will be the same plus an astro mix amp. If you insist on all in one then A40s or A50s will be the reluctant recommendation. They work with pc and console and I believe you can set them up for easy switching between the two. You might want to go to the xbox or sony sub forums. But their recommendation will be A40s or A50s.
