Glad I don't see any macbooks in my classroom. It-supporters and data technicians. As we have knowledge about hardware and software, we know it a true ripoff ;)
In Denmark as well.

The graphic design community has long traditions with Macs so it's impossible to just change the device. Since everyone else uses a Mac it's so much easier to just get one for yourself, all the programs are same for everyone, technical support etc.

Here in the business side it's maybe 60/40 for Macs, in programming classes it's 70/30 for PC's since the classes are about .NET stuff like C# or your regular Java.

Hey, in less than two weeks im going to buy my config, this is what I came up with based on the suggestions here and there:

In the US its around 867 Dollars, in my country its more like 1100 USD

Still havent decided if I will go with the 1060 or the 1050TI

How I understand the difference between them is that 1050TI wouldnt run AAA games maxed out right?

Should I be worried about my monitor?
It supports VGA only.
Should I look for DVI or HDMI instead?

Oh cmon we all know its a ripoff... But then again I think the design and the durability of the Macs have yet to be reproduced by any mayor company that makes Laptops.

its just, whenever I look at the macbook its the pure joy of the design I see, never had this feeling about any other Windows Laptop, and I had like 5 yet so far.

Wrong

MY Asus Zenbook Prime easily rivals the MacBook Air in every way (price, thinness, SSD size, processor, RAM, graphics, screen, keyboard) only thing the mac (on paper) was better at was battery life and not by much
