Assuming the front-to-back case airflow, would it be best to have a radiator on the top of the case with exhaust or intake fans?

It's pretty much either/or. I've seen ppl swear by exhaust, and by intake.

With exhaust, you're using warmer (internal case air) to do your radiator cooling.
With intake you're using external air (cooler), but have dust issues to contend with.


You will find folks who will swear by one or the other. Generally, most ppl opt for exhaust.

Pretty sure the top of my new case has removable dust filters, so I think I'll go for intake. Thanks!

Keep in mind... that with the fans set to intake on a top mounted radiator... that the air blowing INTO the case, will have been heated from passing through the radiator.

Which will raise the ambient temp in the case, not to mention screwing up the front to back airflow.
