Super tempted by it though!

I bought this laptop from Newegg and I replaced the HDD with an SSD. I personally like it. For the price my only complaint is the screen is a little washed out.

The acer? I heard some complaints about the Keyboard as well.

Im currently leaning toward a roughly equivalent Asus posted above.
But then a story on HP and honouring a Accidental damage warranty has me considering them :P

My cash is now all put aside and I can purchase as soon as I see a good deal.

Worth waiting for black friday considering its not as good in canada?

I love my Asus, but I have a Zenbook Prime ultrabook, so it has a smaller form factor and a much higher quality fit and finish, I also managed to get almost the perfect model for me (under $1k, dedicated GFX, SSD, nice screen, backlit keyboard, etc)

It had an AD warranty on it, and I dropped it, literally told them I dropped it, sent it in, couple weeks later it was back and good as new, no money spent, very happy with how it worked out

Whats the Model number? And is that 1k USD?

e/ Basically seeing 1.2-1.5k CDN for a zenbook with 940m
