Yes, it's the name of the cooler, but it's also clocked higher. EVGA has other cards with the same cooler, and not labeled ACX.

Bro, I've already decided, way back in the AGP days...every vid card I've bought since 3DFX was purchased by Nvidia, has been an EVGA card. ^^

ACX doesn't automatically mean clocked higher.

Both are 1050 base/1178 boost clocks with a 7010 memory clock.
