Alright, so... two questions. Everything arrived today, and I obviously bit off more than I can chew. Shitty manuals + the manuals expecting me to know what every wire, slot, and plug-in is, this shit ain't happening.

1. Does anyone have a step-by-step detailed how-to for wiring the psu / mobo / fans / etc? Google failed me, I got frustrated, and now my rig is sitting in pile in the corner.

2. The backplate for the h100i, I didn't notice it had a specific way it wanted to sit. It has little cut-outs to fit underneath two screws a certain way. Does it matter if that was put on a different way? (Only learned about this from youtubing random videos and stumbled onto it... Don't want to have to remove it and waste the thermal paste that was already on it. I have thermal paste, but still. All their benchmarks are listed off of their pre-applied thermal.)

I need a beer and some tylenol. -_-;

Any questions you have google or try youtube. Theres a million step bu step guides all about the same.
You visually seeing how to do it will be better then asking here.
Even for a first timer its easier then you think. :)

I skimmed through google/youtube... every video I saw did the same kinda shit. "Plug this into this slot" and doesn't show the type of wire, or the slot it goes into... lol. I didn't search very hard, though. Meh, I'll have to look tomorrow.

Swapped to the gaming 7 mobo, newegg had a deal where it was the same price as the 5. Also went with a 500gb ssd due to laziness of not wanting to fuck with prioritizing games/updates/etc.

It's my first time ever building a rig, and when I opened up my power supply and had 13 sets of wires, I knew I was doomed. The manual for the psu doesn't even have a step-by-step that describes the set of wires it wants you to use... Labels it as "put 4x4plug in X", when there's 3 different kind of 4x4 plugs in the box, and all of them have different opposite end wires, and all labeled differently.

I'm concerned about the h100i as well, I really don't want to have to take that off just to rotate the backplate 90 degrees. I don't see how it sitting on two support screws under the cpu can matter, but hell, I have zero fucking idea if it does or not.

I might have just been overwhelmed by all of it... Once I'm off work tomorrow, I'm gonna sit down and just get it done. Hopefully I can find a better step-by-step online somewhere... cause yeah, that manual is shit at explaining. Plus I gotta find out if I have to pull that damn h100i off. I reeeeally hope I don't.

Probably, jus do it when you got a couple hours free time so no pressure, relax and have fun with it.
As for the H100i I havent used one, only the H50/55/80, so without seeing what you are referring to I wont pretend like I know. :p
