After taxes, the 6300 comes out to $135. 15$+ more nets you an i3 ivy on newegg. After some simple google searches, I'm really liking the i3 for simple tasks/gaming and a lot lower power suckage. Wtf.

6300 is comparable to a 2500k stock and when ocd it is comparable to a stock 3570k

I have done two builds with the 6300

I'm guessing someone will take exception with this.

It's actually an accurate statement.. but spending the money on a 2500k would be silly vs. the 6300

The 6300 seems like a good value.

That is a 3.5" HDD...

The cx430 has decent reviews, and is being placed in builds by every user on this Sub >_>. How often does it get the "coil whine issues"?

I don't like the mobo either, but it was the only one in the price range that had 6.0/gbs support for the HDD, using 3.0/gbs is irresponsible.
