Do you have any idea then why on my laptop I'm always using like 4-5gb when I don't do much?
For example right now I have Chrome,Vent,Aim and Twitch open watching a stream and I'm using 3.4gb just from that alone.

If I run a game with twitch It's basically impossible I feel :/

I'll keep it in mind though.
Also a buddy of mine put this together: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/qoou/saved/1EjS
If anybody wants to comment on this that'd be great to.

Edit: Oh and how come i5 and not i7 btw? I'm curious.

7970 ghz >> 670
Locked cpu which kills it's resale value ( i wouldn't get a i7 unless you are going to utilize it's hyperthreading)
bad ssd's and slower than the 256 i chose
bad case... they are ugly and are meh @ best.. the case i chose is by far better
the psu is only available on newegg which sucks for canada plus it's overkill AND only semi modular
his build almost maxes you without a keyboard or mouse
PROFESSIONAL windows 7 which is laughable and overkill.. way too much money there
Biostar are terrible mobos... plus the fact that it's a z77 chipset w/ a locked cpu...
All in all it's bad

he also is buying 16gb ram when the board comes with 8gb.

/e probably a good reason to buy from newegg if they are giving free 8gb ram kits, thats like 50$.

/e and your higher usage on your laptop is likely due to bloatware.

fresh install windows and that will go down.

final /e

im in steam/msi afterburner/internet multiple tabs/vlc watching a video and only at 2.4gb ram usage

more than likely.

I have used newegg a lot and saving 50$ not buying ram is way more than shipping ill put the same mobo in my cat and see how much it is to ship to london ontario.

..... the shipping is shown right on the mobo page..... 11.50$.

Interesting .. damn..
Can't you spend like an extra $50-$60 though for 16gb instead of 8gb? Truly think it's not worth it?

Oh and ya newegg is completely out of the question.
I don't have a credit card. Which is my reason for wanting to go to ncix and order it through them in person.

I have a question for anybody who has ever been into NCIX directly.
Would I be able to print this http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/102Ko (if I chose this)
and bring it to them or should I try to find all this on their website and print a list from their website cart?

Oh and I was just going through the first couple items and looking for them on NCIX.ca and the prices are way higher.
Was this list made with US prices? if it was CA prices do you think NCIX will price match?

I'm going to be calling them tomorrow for clarify all this but if anybody here has some information that'd be cool to.

Thanks again guys.

I have also already added Win 7 to the cart.
