you have to look at hyper trasport speed, thats the true power of the chip.

under full load im only runnning at 47% cpu load in rift so i got PLENTY of room to work with

i got my athlon overclocked to 4150Ghz per core right now and only running 22C temp on it rofl,  HAF x case + rasetsu heatsink for the fuckin win

You don't understand how computers work. And the i7s actually have bandwidth in the neighborhood of 6400mbs

I lol so hard when you say you have the cpu @ 4.1ghz with that cooling (original cpu is 3.0) and that you have 22C

Obvious idle temp is Obvious (And looking at core temps obv...)
Get it in full load and you will reach 60+C in a few minutes. and probably get a bsod.

That's 4150mhz PER CORE.

sure u can see it, but u cant notice a difference, and thats what im getting at.

why build a 200fps system when yu cant physically notice a difference from 30-200? lol

im talking solid 30 or higher, below 30 you can notice it.

Umm, I can notice a difference easily, as can most people. Most people see 60FPS easy, and over 120FPS is way easy(just have to have a 120Hz monitor).

Wow you are so very wrong. In Pilot school they flash pictures at 1/200th of a second(200FPS) and you have to catch the picture. The human eye can see well over that. Go get a 120Hz monitor.

i run amd overdrive and cpuid and monitor all temps, the highest ive ever seen on anything under rull raid load in rift was 46C on the main graphics card (one in pci-e slot1 / one im running the hdmi out of)

when yur running a haf x case, with a heatsink like mine, and all the fans are at 100% from startup to shutdown, shit stays cool. and because im running huge size / cfm fans, they run low rpm... u can hardly hear all the fans goin

this all the fans im running

2x 200mm top fans
1x 230mm front fan
1x 200mm side fan
1x 140mm rear fan
1x140 mm heatsink / cpu fan
1x 140 mm internal shrouded fan (dedicated to the graphics cards)
