regardless, spending $100-200 more overall for CPU/motherboard all for a small piece of FPS in SOME GAMES, is just stupid

My build is done, I will now stop using the computer section unless I see someone in need of help.

I went with the 965

i7 is more then just gaming.

For most pre-pubescent kids. Maybe.. but pc isn't just for gaming.

never said it was, but you want to argue how the i7 is better overall, when what I WAS TALKING ABOUT was for gaming purposes, i7 isnt going to provide faster web browsing, better facebook updates, or cooler youtube video playback

my arguement was, for the price, AMD wins in GAMING

not talking overall build price

$190 processor VS $280 processor

~$80-150 motherboards VS $150-300+ motherboards

$90 4gb ram kits VS $90 3gb ram kits (DDR3 1600) (OR $160 6gb kits)

its the entire platform that ends up costing less, OFC cases, opticals, PSUs, HDDs, GFX are constant on either platform
