i was looking at a 1600, because there is not a 1200 model for T2 yet. and in that statement, i was saying i had more to consider.

1200 is also too much. Everything much more power efficient than it was back in the day. I have a 750 and it's overkill, should have gotten the 650.
This is with a 7700k and 1080ti.
Imo get a 750w g3 from EVGA.
