Most ddr3-1600 I've seen has tighter timings, and those exact timings of 11-11-11-28 are what mine had before enabling xmp

Could be normal though, PNY isn't a fantastic brand so they might be looser with that stuff

He has a Lenovo motherboard, that doesn't even show a model number in Speccy. I doubt that w/e BIOS he does have, has many alterable settings.

Plus, I looked up PNY's RAM offerings. They need a smaller word than "skimpy". The econo 1600Mhz RAM, does indeed have those timings.
