you don't ever get a straight conversion as theres always fee's when converting.
even though your paid is USD MANY and I mean MANY parts still cost more even after converting do to them being dicks and shipping costs.
Had this conversation lots with many people and showed them just how much more Canadians pay and its not justified.
I order 50% of my stuff from the US now and have it mailed to me because of it.

U guys misunderstand him, he's being paid in usd rather than cad working in Canada. So he's saying it's "cheaper" to him than usual, buying op Canadian parts.

Ex. Gpu costs 200 Canadian.
He gets paid 25usd/hr which equals to 30+canadian.
While another guy working the same job, for a Canadian company gets paid 25cad/hr.

My friend works for bnsf, makes 6k usd guarantee a month, which is close to 8k cad. While cp employees still make 6kcad month
