That was the original one I looked at. After comparing it to the x61 temp wise and noise x61 took the lead. So switch since it was an extra 10 bucks. However, the deepcool 240 is on sale for a few days @ 89 and a 20$ rebate so 70 bucks when reality all 3 arent that much different aside from temps and a little noise

noise is negligible if you wear a headset

My current one is close to death so its loud as hell Ive gotten use to it, lol. Plus getting the silent case will help a little. Just trying to determine if the difference is minimal if you push over 5 compared to a light OC at 4.8. Small OC temp is only about 2 degree but havent seen much in-depth

Ya I mean sata to pcie is a little different but good enough regardless

A little different?
Sata has a maximum transfer speed at 600MB/s. That's roughly 540MB/so with encoding/overheader.

While the pcie/nvme can handle up to 4000MB/s aka 4GB/s. That's about 3600MB/s after encoding/overheader.

Pretty huge difference.
Remember m.2 is not a deciding factor. Because an ssd can be an m.2 but use the sata lane. It's whenever it's sata ssd or pcie ssd/nvme.

Pulled the trigger and ended up going with this for now
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vDsMD8

Im aware the monitor isnt the best but its better than my current. Next bigger upgrade will be a larger SSD and better monitors.

Already bought it so a little late for that. Why not the g1? I can always buy a different one later. Guess I should of just stuck with the other one I was looking at.

Nevermind I contacted them and got it switched I see what I did lol
