its been proven at tpu that since release rx480 has increased average 7-8% across the board
this driver is just above 2% but with other tweaks for heat and relive

All I see concerning these new drivers...is a lot of talk. Yes they obviously have better tools with the drivers...but I would wait and see, till the actual benchmarks come out.

As usual, we hear claims, yet no solid proof. According to the Guru3D article, the 8% fps improvement is not fully (if at all) available with the 16.6.2 drivers.
If you are on the bench about AMD vs. Nvidia ...wait for some substantial proof.

oh ok thx
i was gonna go amd
so as to beat out it's counterpart
a year from now

Yeah, I saw those charts. They are NOT benchmarks. They are charts claiming a certain percentage improvement. I want to see the actual benchmarks.

Even assuming these charts are accurate (which they probably are)...there is still only a 2.x% improvement.
Like I've said about 3 times now....

I would wait and see, until the actual (in the field) benchmarks are out.

So, you are recommending that folks, DON'T wait till some other benchmarks come out, before they decide?

Yes or no, I'm recommending ppl wait and see.

TPU seems to have run a lot of benchmarks in a day. ^^
More like they took results from other places, than actually ran all those benchmarks.

Lastly, as I have said about 4 times now...I would wait and see. <--- This is my point. This is what I am talking about.
