Sandisk... no wonder. Sandisk has software on it that is installed when you plug into your computer which isn't compatible with the windows usb tool. The firmware bit value is set so it's recognized as a hard drive and not a thumb drive as well, because of microsoft go drive standards. The way around it is to download the ISO with the windows tool and use another program (rufus) to make a bootable drive. Or get a better thumb drive.
