Op is your macbook required for most of your gd classes?

the experts can criticize

couple routes you can go

6700 non-k is significantly cheaper than k-version
but then you're limited to a little slower ram speeds

could maybe bump up the amount of ram if 16 is insufficient

or snag 2x of those monitors if you have the room
multitasking

could snag another drive for more/separate storage and use the smaller ssd for os
maybe another ssd crucial 275 gig compounded with smaller os ssd or just use 1x 275 ssd for everything
or a separate larger hdd for storage but you prob want ssd speeds for your tasks

somethin to get yer editing feet wet

/e as far as gpu goes 1050ti should be perfect for ya

I totally agree

Not required, but when the first time I walked in to the class and seen 85% of ppl with macbook, i knew i made the right choice.
I mean even the programs we use, we can download them from the cloud for free, all the school systems use macs. My classroom has 30 iMacs only for us and i dont even want to count how many there is in the whole school
I study in Denmark by the way.

Same when I got to university for graphic design. All iMacs. I used a Dell laptop because I preferred Windows.

Glad I don't see any macbooks in my classroom. It-supporters and data technicians. As we have knowledge about hardware and software, we know it a true ripoff
In Denmark as well.

Oh cmon we all know its a ripoff... But then again I think the design and the durability of the Macs have yet to be reproduced by any mayor company that makes Laptops.

its just, whenever I look at the macbook its the pure joy of the design I see, never had this feeling about any other Windows Laptop, and I had like 5 yet so far.

Many company's have made thin aluminum finished laptops....

what rock have you been under.
