Gave hima 1070, a 6700K, and a 2TB HDD.

If he doesn't need the 2TB...then...

You can get the cheaper SSD, ram, and HDD if you want. Then upgrade to a 1080, a better CPU cooler, or a 480-512gb ssd.

You can find a 480 GB ssd for almost same cost of that 250 gb.

The drive ghot added is faster but we are talking so small of a difference that you or I would not realize it.

Maybe something like this with just a single SSD?

or you could do a 480GB ssd and 1TB HDD

I would go with the storage I listed...but it's up to you.

Because it is a little faster?

I don't think it would be noticeable, and he gets twice as much for the money.

Hey also if he is buying from JET will get 15% (up to $30 off) something. I ordered my RAM and SSD on there.

Because they're faster, they last longer, they have better tech support.

What kind of tech support you need on an SSD?

Plus the blue is mainly for storage if he has a 480 GB SSD.

Last longer... questionable.
