yeah, I'd vote i7 but thats cuz I'm a multi tasker even while gaming, which brings up how long has 6 cores/ 12 thread intel processors been out and not even mainstream market yet talk about milking it

I loved my 6 core when I had it. Thing ran like a champ and the temps were amazing.

The 1080s go in and out of stock all the time. Just find it on Newegg or w/e and set it to auto-notify.

As for the screen, 27-28" is fine, I would look for a 1400p 27".

I got a really nice 24" Dell 4K a while ago...text, like the controls on some programs were just way too small. Just like the File, Edit, View buttons on Windows ...windows.

/e I sent it back 3 days after it arrived. It kinda felt like I was using binoculars backwards. :/

/ee If you want a decent price on the vid card...and intend on getting an EVGA...just make an acct and set one of these to auto-notify.

I bought a 28" 4k monitor like you told me to and that is probably the stupidest fucking advice ive ever got from someone. this sucks.

On a build like that, it's almost a waste, not to get the 6700K. Also, you really don't want to go below 28" or more, for a 4K monitor.

/e ...and yeah, don't get a Founder's Edition GTX 1080.

I didn't tell you to buy a 4K monitor bro. You did that, all by yourself. ^^

/e Just send it back...and get a 1440p monitor. ^^

Out of curiosity...which one did you buy?

Doesn't matter...I used one (the 4K 24" Dell) for 3 days and sent it back. Told Dell there was nothing wrong with it...just everything was too small for me.

The one on the right was the Dell 24" 4K monitor.

/e As long as you didn't destroy the package you should be able to return it. Even if you did you will probably be ok.

/ee Which one did you get?

So does Win XP, Win 7 etc. I don't use ribbon bars...I use the old File, Edit, View, etc., and those you can't enlarge. Another thing that can't be enlarged it all the tools in an image editor for example.
