A $600 laptop will play D2 just fine.

Get $80 more and buy this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834315165

sometimes the people on this sub.......

don't even bother to ask what games. You could still play WoW on this laptop as well.

Since when did buying a new pc "cuz i wanna play games" ever was only for d2?

depending what you want to do a cheaper laptop could be alright.
a big difference between a $1000 laptop and a $500 laptop will be the resolution.
so even though the $500 laptops specs obviously won't be the greatest it still might do alright because of the lower resolution.

maybe someone else can speak to how much of a difference there will be.
I do know someone ordered an a10 laptop a while back and wanted a ssd installed.
prior to putting in the ssd I installed some games on the original hdd just to see how well it could handle it and it played D3 and a few other games just fine, again the resolution was only 1366x768 though.

I would get that Acer V Nitro from Newegg. That's a good deal and if you throw in another 100 you can install your own SSD and itll b killer.

People give very critical reviews at Newegg. Personally, I bought an Acer E5 from Newegg and people had bad things to say but I love it. Yeah the screen isnt IPS but I also only spent $500 on it. You just need to weigh out the specs vs the price for your own needs

This one should do the job and no additional work needed like ChingeR posted
