I don't know honestly. It came in a pre-built PC like 10 years ago, if not more.

So then you aren't running that cpu? You plan on running it

Most modern motherboard are fine whichever brand
Just becomes question of which features you want
Overclocking this has Many sub features too

Did you already buy your CPU/GPU/PSU or just picked those?
Because if you haven't purchased them yet, I can build you a better build.

Here is a list for what you chose.
Better Ram, 16GB instead of 8GB and 2400Mhz frequency instead of 1600Mhz.
Better SSD, The 850 Evo vs Kingston V300.
And as for Motherboard, ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer vs MSI Z97-GAMING 5. Which is good enough for your build.

Price is $4 cheaper if you plan on using Mail and Rebate.
Or $16 more if you don't plan on using Mail and Rebate.
