oh, i didn't actually read what you said for obvious reasons

gz build isn't too bad
except it's 2016 and you still chose ram without heat spreaders :bonk:

Right... how else to deal with the insane amount of heat a RAM stick creates.

EE: I retract what I say after reading an in-depth review/stress test. Can still swap out the SSD for a better PSU, considering it's one of the most vital organs.

Yeah, the TR2 Bronze was good, not the original, IIRC; I don't care to search for it either...

RAM still suffers from thermal throttling especially in cases that lack proper airflow. If you actually Googled it, you would see there has been studies done that show a significant difference between RAM with or without heat spreaders.

A 500w psu would drive these builds just fine, not every psu is shit, it just happens this one in particular is.

Not necessarily a mistake as opposed to knowledge on linked psu.

Why should I do your research for you? There's definitely a reason behind heat spreaders besides looks. I can't help it that you can't find a direct article.

Here: I found this to simplify it for you

By far, the most common causes of damage to RAM are excessive heat, improper overclocking, and power surges. To avoid these issues in the future, make sure your box is properly ventilated, and take some time out of your schedule each month to open it up and clean it with an air duster. Unplug your computer during any electrical storms, and make sure it’s plugged into a surge protector at all times. Lastly, if you’re planning on working inside your computer, put on an anti-static wristband.
