It says the drive bays are "hot swappable"...do I still need cables? I couldnt decide if it just slides in and...plugs into it?

No they plug into the SSD or HDD without cables. Might take you a bit to line up an SSD correctly but saves on cables. Once it's in use double sided tape to attach it to the cage so it doesn't wiggle free.

ok!

I found 1 spot for an extra fan (bottom front)...it measured 3 inches...Im assuming an 80mm fan will work fine. I can't seem to find anywhere else to put fans...is that normal? There is only 1 fan on the back.

On a prebuilt, yeah, there's not too many places to put fans.

Hmm too bad ;(

I'm lookin at 2 of these....I would imagine 1 intake/1exhaust is ok? Ill add an intake to the front of my setup and ill replace the existing exhaust...is it worth 14 bucks each? From your experience is the higher cfm worth it, or should I just roll with 30~cfm fans. I guess I was thinking since i am limited on fan space the extra cfm might be nice.

hmm any recommendations? I kinda wanted cool led fans, but id rather quality over looks atm.

i measured the dimensions based on the mounting screw locations...the existing rear fan is 3.2x3.2 hole to hole (inches 82mm) and my other slot that isnt being used is only 3x3 (76mm)..

Would that mean that the front location isnt actually there for mounting a fan?

The problem with prebuilts is that companies who make them will use proprietary parts.

The other problem is the fan size...there aren't too many 80mm fans that can move any air, w/o a lot of noise. I seriously doubt you will even need another fan.

When you get you parts and get them installed and working...then do this...

Get SPECCY here: http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download ...get the FREE version from the: Piriform Link ...Speccy is a really nice system hardware/temperature, information Utility....simply install it...and run the program...then post a screen shot of the main page of the program, when posting a problem/question on these forums.

/e In fact, it might be a good idea to just do it now, so you'll have a Speccy screenshot to compare to, after the upgrade.
