I5 is sufficient for gaming. There's no performance boost using an I7.
R9 Fury is using HBM memory which is faster than GDDR5
SSD and 2 TB HDD for boot and storage
PSU is solid and leaves room to grow if needed.

you have a ton of choices with the budget you selected.
quite a few solid builds in this thread at good prices.

maybe reduce your budget gap?
also specify which gfx card you're leaning towards.
980 ti/r9 fury/390 seem to be the top choices atm - it comes down to you being able to justify the price for the performance

cause a 980 ti fits

I guess I don't understand the difference in the 980ti for 650 vs the 390 for 315$. That's what I boils down to. That and is there any harm in going with a 4ghz i7 instead of the i5?

Okay so i've now had 2 threads and gone back and forth between 1080p vs 1440p and 60hz vs 144hz. Do i need to spend 2k+ on a computer/monitor set up when I play crappy games with bad graphics? Probably not. That being said there was one build that I think fits my needs.

I have decided that I will do 1080p gaming with 2x 24inch HD Acer Monitors.

Before I buy this stuff I have a few questions. Is this build upgradeable? If in 2-3 years I decide I want to upgrade the video card or the processor will this mother board be good enough for that? Is the power supply enough for upgrades in the future? Is the cheapish ram okay?

The core of the build will be that processor and that video card but if you see something that I can do better on the other parts for a similar price please help me out!

I greatly appreciate everyone's help here. This has been a lot more eye opening experience than I could have imagined.
