i went to the dell website and auto detected devices and driver updates and i have a ton i'm currently installing.. i'm sure that has to do with why it's been running poorly since the factory restore lmao

Factory reset would just reinstall all the older drivers. Anything that has been optimized would have o be downloaded from the vendors site.
