dont even bother guys, he really believes intel is the way to go, even if it means on a dual core on a $700 budget with OS/Monitor like ghot mentioned.
that's pretty much a ~$450 build.

For wow/mmo type cpu intense games yes

my i3 3220 does not perform better than my 8350.

with that logic, OP might as well go Pentium g3258 route, and OC it.

yeah played it when the xpac came out with friends until we got to lvl 100, with full bg gear and kept getting rekt by pros

do you? or do you just look at benchmarks all day?
cos really, ur pretty much recommending the OP to get a g3258 since it performs just as good as i5's when OC'd. amirite?

For past week there have been about 10-15 posts about problems with AMD vid cards....not saying it was the cards fault but...

At OP just get my build with a GTX 960 instead.

I'll look into it.

@OP if going overbudget is okay,
here's pretty much the intel verison of it

no OS/monitor

I wouldn't mind going a tad over if going intel is a big upgrade.

You can take out the monitor and OS. monitor isn't to important atm, and Im pretty sure I could get a OS somewhere.

Will most likely buy tonight after I look the builds over tonight when I get home.
Also, these builds would be able to keep pretty good graphics with streaming movies and playing with two monitors right?

CPU intense, but what's your point? still living in the 90's?
just cos a 10+ year old game is CPU intensive, u don't go for a dual core.
I rather have an all around build with smoother feel when using 2 monitors to play games & whatever on the other screen.

Also, you're making it sound like AMD cpu's aren't capable of running CPU intensive games like sc2 and WoW
Doesn't it tell you sth when AMD stopped making new gen CPU's & people still buy them? Yeah, AMD/Intel CPUs are so overkill that few gen old CPU can still satisfy its customers enough for them to still buy em.

@OP any of those builds will do what you want,
the intel build will give you the best results, but it will cost you more, can't be OC'd unless ur experienced/don't mind the hassle, not a fan of asrock anniversary board either.
just don't go for a dual core pentium/i3, even though they'll still easily play WoW, it's gonna feel gay when u do other things while gaming.

if u dont mind going overbudget, i'd prefer this than the other build i linked, if ur planning to OC without breaking too much $$$
