rig is overkill for sc2. cooler is fine

so nobody sees anything that can be improved on or MAYBE downgraded a bit that will change the price by like 100+ but can still run sc2/dota in ultra?

for starters, the $130 ram you could get for around 80
cheaper mobo for similar price maybe
tons actually, cuz prices vary often.
Need to know when you're actually purchasing otherwise it's never gonna help you

Without any OC the cpu & Gpu alone, will use almost 400w

You always want to give some breathing room to your PSU

550~ would be about perfect imo



The cpu / gpu run over 342w alone. Not including the rest of the system.

the parts you have are fine. as mentioned earlier, you can max sc2 on ultra. this is a good rig for current games as well. the only thing i suggest is to get an ssd. as of today, ssd prices are pretty high but this is a good ssd at a low cost http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/crucial-internal-hard-drive-ct240m500ssd1. you dont have to buy it now. you can buy it later and install windows on it and keep your games/media/large programs on the hdd. i put all my daily drivers and programs (chrome, steam, small docs) on my ssd and the rest on my hdd/personal cloud.
