not really sure why I would want to go slower and spend half of my budget vs more of my budget and a faster pc?

Slower? For your purposes, you won't notice a difference, if any.

Your build has a super-overkill CPU and motherboard combo, an aftermarket cooler that just won't cut it for that CPU, too much RAM for gaming, a shitty PSU, and you're sticking with, for your budget, a garbage graphics card.

which like I said it makes no point to buy a new graphics card when new ones are coming out very soon. not only can I pick up current top products cheaper but I can buy a newer one instead of buying something now then being able to pick up something better for the same price as current high end cards.

not only that but you never asked what I would be using the computer for or what I will be running with it.
as far as the cooler goes this is why I asked for opinions. if I need a better cooler then that's all that needs to be said. as far as the psu I got for a deal it doesn't seem that bad considering the reviews.
and as far as the cpu and mother board I figure it gives me room to keep up for the next few years instead of having to build a new one next year.

because honestly what youre saying is I shouldn't even upgrade my current.
which is a
asus p5q-e
intel q6600
the graphics card I have
the psu I have

Explain to me how what I posted is not an upgrade to your current system, because honestly, your entire line of reasoning makes no sense...

Yea, I am aware shit always comes out. but a good graphics card costs just as much as a mobo/cpu combo. so why not invest more into it.. when u know something is about to come out.
I understand a small budget but you saying I wont see the difference in a processor that runs 1ghz slower and is only 30$ less what I have. idk sorry just don't agree with going with a slower processor. as I said im not over clocking. going to run everything at stock.

I think I might have the wrong processor on the parts picker im actually going with the fx-8350 I think the parts picker has the fx-9xxx on it.

This post is a violation of the site rules and appropriate action was taken.

Stop posting here if you're going to be an ignorant moron.

Buy a 960 or better or stop posting in these forums. As everyone has said, your build is awful. Listen to them for a change or end up like gimhae.

End of thread.

Nah, but I'll let it slide.

And realistically, you will never be able to tell any of the FX-8000 series CPUs apart from each other with the naked eye. Don't attempt to convince yourself otherwise.
