FWIW - I got a Corsair 450D base along with the Hyper 212 EVO and a 4-in-1 value pack of fans and dropped my temps dramatically.

Idle went from 25-28ºC idle to 13-16ºC and 58-60ºC max to 30-34ºC. Occasionally it spikes up to around 40 but it never sits up there. It usually hovers around 32 on average.

Hyper 212 EVO will allow you to do as you please with an fx 8350.

Keep in mind you need to push/pull to overclock with it. Once you do, your 100% set.
I pushed my 8350 just fine with my EVO 212. Very good cooler dude. Dont let that price make you feel like its cheap.

Its ratings are up there with the h100i etc..

Best of luck

Also as a tip. Make sure your fans are installed properly in that case.
Its a great case if you install the fans in a way they pull in as much air as being pulled out.

Very cool, seems the EVO 212 will suite it just fine then. I'm not sure how you mean with the fan installation. There is probably a proper way to install them on Google because that's such a popular case I'd guess.

Fans installation is pretty simple....you want the intakes on the front and bottom of case and the exhausts on the top and rear of case.....sorta like this...red arrows indicate the direction of the air flow.
