lol

baddies selectively use statistics to make an argument, while overlooking the overall picture

aka holistically an i5 will always benchmark better

all in all this is a stupid argument that has been had on this forum numerous times

look up the statistics of the most common CPU used in rigs (hint it's an i5)

this sf caters to a unique subset of PC consumers, with one of the major commonalities being the majority of you are fucking poor..which is why the i5 is so despised here whereas it is heralded as the quintessential cpu for gamers/casual pc users elsewhere.

pretty sure funion and i are pretty well off financially, but dis da internatz s0 who carez
we don't despise intel, cos we have both AMD/intel.
both are good CPU's, it's not the past nemore where CPU's are so shit u wish u has to buy a new one every couple years.
you will notice a far more better performance in games with a gfg gpu with amd's fx, than a decent gpu with intel cpu.
h0wever, if their budget is high enuff and dun mind maxing it out, can always get the intel dik status for dat epeen increas without losing boner on the other components

OP has alrdy been helped,
shd purchase it

this is true but it's a peripheral argument to the one at hand

intel will outperform amd

period, end of story, game over.

so when you kids say AMD is better

in fact you are wrong.

if you tell me amd is better price/performance fine.

don't spread misinformation to clueless first time builders.

don't spread your intel fanboyism if you can't argue.
you clearly suck at arguing and the fact that i know several languages makes you criticize my english is fairly a way for you to boost your ego since i shattered it into ashes.
anyways, intel vs amd is bullshit, odds a person in real life will notice it will be non noticeable for the majority of persons, since benchmarks are in ideal settings we don't live in a perfect world.
if you are interested, do a ssd benchmark thread and see who has the best ssd and see if you can see it to the naked eye the difference.
odds is you will not, so you should just stop trying to get people inside your fanboy circle.

Intel is better than AMD, there's no doubt about it guys...
AMD can however be more worth to buy, but if OP wants to upgrade, he can do that.
