i dont see how this is wrong or abrasive, everything after that was just a result of that other guys anger
Your responses are abrasive. I'm well aware Wraith was abrasive first, but he's always as such and he's not wrong in this case.

there a reason why every thread on this sf has everyone saying 970 for gpu?
what do u guys do that warrants that kind of card o.o
This is wrong, the 970 is often not recommended for many budget builds here. The 970 is often recommended when it's within budget because it's a new generation card using new generation technology and just anniliates everything within it's price range.

for only $350? my computers cost [no monitor/kb/mouse/os included] was $550
and it does everything i need it to do. i just simply browse web/play games on high or ultra depending on game
which is why i asked what do you guys do on your computer that has u spending $350 on the gpu alone. is it an enthusiast thing?
it should be obvious what you do on your computer? sorry i dont read your diary
$350 is a great price for the performance of a 970. Just because a $550 computer meets your needs doesn't mean it'll meet everyone's needs. There are
plenty of instances in gaming were the performance of a 970 is necessary and plenty of people with the money to spend that. And keep in mind that for gaming (which is what most people come here to ask for a build for), the GPU is often going to be the bottleneck, so it's quite obvious that that is going to often be the largest chunk of the budget. I've heard before you generally want to put approximately 1/3rd the budget towards the GPU for a gaming system (this is of course a very general guideline for beginner creators, experts will know better how to budget out parts)
I could go on but I think this is enough for my point. All of your comments afterward are unnecessary and do nothing but give you a bad look, whether or not Wraith comes off as a douchebag isn't the situation in it's entirety.
