Hell no on the 750ti with that kind of budget.

Thank you very much for the feedback. I am planning to purchase components this weekend.

Some questions/thoughts:

I would like 16GB ram (easier to upgrade to 32gb later on)

Do I need that large of a SSD? I do have some extra HDD that I planned on putting in. My thought was to use the SSD just for OS/core programs. Thoughts on SSD manufacturer? Crucial? Intel? Samsung? They all comparable or is one far superior to others?

What about going with an AMD (FX-8350 perhaps) and reallocate those savings into an even higher GPU?

There's no way you're going to utilize 16 GB, much less 32 GB, or RAM without doing heavy video editing, virtualization (running multiple virtual machines), encrypting, or running a server.

That's a little over you $800 budget, but you get a GTX 970. For $30 less you can get an R9 290x and about $100 less an R9 290. All of these GPUs are better than a GTX 760.

R9 290x

Although, if you're going to spend $300 on the 290x, you may as well get the GTX 970.

Changed the SSD, CPU, and added a keyboard. Please let me know thoughts, I would like to buy today:

Reading about the cooler/case, I'm wondering if the cooler will be too tall for the case.

Get Z97 Motherboard, not a Z87.
The CM 212 Evo will fit in the Corsair 200R.
I would personally get an R9 280 or 280x over a GTX 760.

Finally, drop the overpriced keyboard, get a 240GB MX500 Crucial SSD instead of the Samsung and add a 1TB HDD.
