Since I can't edit
my friend is saying I shouldn't have an AMD processor if I am getting an NVIDIA video card
what does everyone else think on that?

Tell him he shouldn't have Nvidia card with his intel as well.
And get an Intel case to go with his build, or an amd case if he has amd processor lel

to optimize your budget, an AMD cpu would be the best bang for your buck. an Intel cpu would fit, but youll need to adjust your gpu accordingly.

it would look like this: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/3nMLbv

i'm not sure about the computer requirements now with the new texture package. before that, WoW didnt demand too much from the cpu & gpu.
