@dolarsignzeroxeighty

Sorry I will not be able to purchase the laptop you recommended as I won't be able to buy it before the sale gets off (AKA tomorrow at midnight).
Do you have any opinions on the Lenovo Y500 series? I have been looking at them and it seems like a pretty good laptop, but I am no computer expert so your opinion is greatly appreciated :p

They are good, but are they the best for what I'm asking? :p
And I'm supposing the ASUS you linked me to was better? In what way? (sorry I'm a noob)

Here's the link for the Lenovo Y500 series (CANADA):

Thanks a bunch everyone, again!

I don't really "game" so much. The only games I play are LoL, some counter-strike once in a while and I might eventually go back to Diablo II... And the graphics for these games aren't the highest so it doesn't matter so much.
If the only difference between the ASUS and the Lenovo are the graphics, it's not that much :) And I believe the Lenovo series laptops are 15.6" instead of 17.3", which seems more appropriate for me? (smaller + requires less energy cuz smaller - correct me if I am wrong)

Thanks a lot for the response!

Hey guys, I am going to make my purchase today or tomorrow, and I am currently going for the Lenovo Y500 series, because I would strongly prefer a 15.6" screen laptop.
I am looking at reviews and comparing many laptops, and the short battery life on the Y500 is kind of bugging me... Does it really matter or I should not really worry about that?

If you have any other suggestions, they are more than welcomed :D

(Sorry I didn't specify the screen size before, I just decided now it would be better for me )
