If you can, if you can't you can just put together the parts, and I will see myself if I can find them in Norway :)

I would like to use a norwegian shop, because I imagine it will make it easier for tax records etc.

oh ill use this one

www.komplett.no

hmm for some reason the website is really slow

ill try to make one once im back home, since im at work atm LOL

Thanks for the build iNuke, I like it at first glance, though I don't know that much about parts etc.

I'm just asking some here.

-> I don't need support for more than quad core proc?
-> I don't need more RAM - possibilities for upgrading in the future?
-> What about an SSD HD for os, programs (excel, outlook etc), and some of the games I would play (etc Diablo III). music others on a regular HDD. needed?
-> Why did you pick the Samsung HDD? any important difference?
-> No need extra fans (for cpu etc)?
-> The motherboard has room for 3 gfx in crossfire (they must be the same?)?
-> Noiselevel from computer is low/comfortable?
-> What mouse/keyboard would you recommend?
-> What windows to buy? I know there are something called OEM etc.

Anyways as far as I can tell I like the build, and the price is ok, and it's good to know I have a computer that is good for the next years. I'm thinking about the SSD HD though. And possibly a blue-ray player/writer (I would maybe get a blueray player for my TV), but not sure if that is needed at all, since I haven't watched blueray. My TV is a 42" full-HD.
edit: don't know if buying a blueray player/writer for my computer is stretching it, since this is by all means a company owned computer, and primarily meant to be used for work.

Thanks for help!

Thanks, around 2k usd is fine (I don't mind if it costs 2.5k or 1.5k, but I want it to be sensible and good).
1k usd ~ 6000 NOK

You dont need anything else besides what I posted, the case comes with 3 nice fans already, the cpu has its own fan and cooling system as well as the 2 graphics cards, each of them has a fan and a cooling plate..

The windows, you should be ok with Windows 7 64bit Home edition. In US its about 99 dollars.

I didnt include any blu-ray or w/e , cause those are things u can just buy later on if ud like..

I didnt inlcude an SSD cause of price limit, but its also something u can just add at anytime, what I suggest is having an ssd of around 40-60gigs with windows + system drivers installed and the rest in the samsung..

I picked that samsung because its a rly good choice from all the available ones on that website, I mean its a good choice anywhere.. 1tera, 32mb cache, sata, 7200 rpms 3gb/s.. thats pretty much everything u need,..

That processor IS quad-core with hyperthreading technology, u wouldnt need any kind of support for anything ( i dont know what kind of support ur talking about anyway) :)

The price could be a little better overall but theres no discounts or combos or w/e on that website as theres on newegg :( .. but with ur buget I would go with the exact same build from newegg..

oh well the website komplett.no has way petter price than mamoz.no but is lagging as fck for me heh

but i would suggest downgrading to an i5 760, using the EVGA FTW 1156 mobo that has 2 pci 2.0x16 slots, with the same gfx cards than you used, which are gtx460 768mb in SLI, with corsair xms3 2x2gb RAM, corsair 850w modular psu, ocz vertex 60 gb SSD, basic sony dvd burner, win7 home premium 64 bits (x86), same HDD (samsung spinpoint f3 1TB) and same case (colermaster HF922)

im curious about how much the same build would cost using combos on newegg lol

here it is :D

oh I changed a few things to make it better..and forgot to add a dvd burner in there too, which is 20$

new total 1250$ bofore taxes and shipping

Thanks, I will sleep on it some, and see what those parts will cost on komplett.no.
I really think it's better to buy from a company in norway.
Without taxes iNuke's build costs little over 1700usd + shipping (without taxes).
But no SSD HD or windows i7 in that price.

Do you recommend switching what you said, because it is cheaper?

Anyways tty'all tomorrow :)

well at first i wanted to change the power supply cause the OCZ one isnt recommended

but as for the RAM, its only cause on newegg there was a sexy combo with Gskill ripjaws, which is really good RAM. But since you're gonna use komplett.no, means no combo, so you simply choose parts individually.

now im home , ill try to do my build on komplett.no (at work it was blocked for some reason)

heres mine

Heres my go at it:

I'll compare it to Nukes build

Pros: 40GB SSD for fast booting, cheaper price, comes with a CPU cooler

Cons: Doesnt have an extra video card, powersupply is a lower wattage (700w should be absolutely fine for your computer though), not running an i7 950.

if you're going single GPU, sure its gonna be way cheaper^^

nvm my comment about the mobo socket / cpu socket, I though all i7's were 1366 ^^

Well obviously.

I dont think hes going to need another gtx 460, but its definitely an option down the road if he finds that he needs one.

I would rather buy one card, see if it satisfies my needs before buying another. If it does, then I just saved 200 bucks.

I decided to go for the SSD route instead.

well that means you needa an sli 2 way mobo

but yea i agree with waiting a bit before getting another, since the price will drop with the ati 6k series

i also went with the SSD

and for only 2 000 (whatever unit it is) i have

a better mobo, 1 more gtx460, a better HDD, a better SDD, windows 7, a better case, better RAM, better PSU

only thing is that im using the i5, which is quick enough ^^

i only have to drop one gtx460 and im down to only 500 difference with your build

Motherboard supports sli/xfire.

I'm almost positive the intel x-25v is better, but dont quote me on it.

Harddrives are the same.

Better case is a matter of preference.

I'll agree on the PSU, but mines modular :)
