ghot friend has 2x 590's its reported as quad sli he tried to add another 590 and it wouldnt recognize it also he needed to add another psu to even attempt to run the 3rd 1



I dunno bro...one 590 doesn't show as SLI...so i think whether it's GPU-Z or nVidia control panel or w/e he seeing quad SLI is probably just not reading incorrectly and yeah..it'd def take 2 PSU's to run 4 590's lol

or maybe it's just a driver thing...I dunno...but if one card don't show as SLI then TWO cards shouldn't show as quad...even tho I belive you when u say they do

BUT I'm also real tired atm ...but I still think it could be done....maybe have to use custom driver or some shyt ^^

All these things he has in his alienware are not available through alienware, 4x 590 dual psu..... etc, and he mentions his warranty well if he put his own things inside the machine that voids the warranty.

ONLY now are they getting 590s in there and this guy bought his some time ago "apparently".

So many lies nn them.

Fuck guys, my Compaq has 6x 590s and 5 1200w psu!

I only paid 2k for it, get at me.

/e I think it has already been asked.... why would someone with an alienware with 4x 590 gpu build a pc to play rift.

Lets see... P(watts) = I x E ...where I = amps and E = voltage.

so... 120V x 15 amps = 1800W, even if 110V x 15amps = 1650W.

...and remember....when u doublle the voltage you halve the amperage and the wattage stays the same...thats how stoves work.... they are 220V on 20 amp breaker or 4400W

watch any crazy ass build on youtube
wouldnt a simple pic of his rig confirm hes big dummy

welll we alll know that Alienware doesn't even offer 4 way SLI in even it's most expensive rigs ...so obv troll :)
